(1) a girl/woman/gay who tries too hard to pretend to be something or someone she's not, derived from the name of Filipina singer and celebrity, Pilita Corrales, (2) may also be used as a verb to connote excessive/strained effort in doing something or to appear as someone or something other than what oneself truly is
(1) Pilita Corrales naman 'yang si Bheng eh. Pa-sosyal masyado eh wala namang pera!
(2) Pinilita Corrales at lahat na ni badet yung jowa n'ya pero ayaw na talaga s'ya balikan.
